1965 Chevrolet EI Camino Chrome

This truck has many memories for our family. My Father bought this truck (his very first car) at 22 years old and is still the proud owner of it and will be 80 years old next year. I have way too many stories to tell, but what a blast we had. My sister and I were brought home from the hospital after we were born in that truck and it was the first car we ever drove.

My parents used to take it to the desert with his motorcycle in the back for races, then camp out in the back of it. My Dad and I drove to Texas, New Mexico and Arizona for my Volleyball tournaments and instead of a hotel, we roughed it sleeping in the back as well!!

This truck is so special but now he can’t drive it anymore and I want someone else to love it and create their own new memories in it!

I’m gonna try and answer these questions best I can:

    It’s a 3 speed

-never on the tree always a floor shifter
-steering wheel has well over 170K its the original wheel
-the body has the same over 170K
-The truck was a total re-do from front to back but all the parts are original
-rebuilt engine 327 CI-Paint back to the original blue.
-White leather seats were bought over 30 years ago and he waited to have them installed once he was able to restore the truck

I have all the paperwork of what was done to the car over the years!

-My Dad is the original owner since he was 22 and he will be 80 this year! This truck is very very sentimental and I truly hope that whoever gets this truck, really loves it as much as we do and did!!

Hope I was able to help answer these questions. Thanks for the interest too-This truck runs like a bad ass out of hell!!

-we always knew when he was coming home LOL!!! Engine sounds incredible!!

  • ACC Auctions says:

The reserve is now OFF, the seller gave us permission to let it go to the highest bidder today!

  • Polka says:

Is this a 3 speed or 4 speed trans? Was it originally on the tree? The steering wheel tells a story of at least 170k miles, or more. How many total miles on the body and chassis? The valve covers appear to be from a 283 vintage of possibly 1968 or newer, with PVC valve hole.
