Does your car have its original born with drivetrain and you have pictures of the stampings?
Someone transplanted a 350 sbc in the car at some point. So the recent owner obtained a period correct 327, like one it was born with, and rebuilt it. So the current 327 in it isn’t numbers matching.
Do you have any history on the vehicle itself? How many owners it’s had, along with how long has it been owned by the present owner?
The current owner has owned it for a couple of years, he has a collection of cars. He bought it from a family that owned it for about 10 years prior, that is as far back as any of us know. The car recently has had new carpet, new seats, new top, new tires, and genuine knockoff aftermarket wheels. All the brakes have been done. The motor was completely gone through at a machine shop and rebuilt last year. This car can be driven with confidence anywhere, but also looks very nice and proper.
