The 3000 Mk III series Healey’s were manufactured in the United Kingdom between 1963 and 1967, this last version was the most refined. They were known for their structural strength, elegant styling and impressive performance with a top speed of just above 120mph. The previous owner enjoyed this exceptional car for over 20 years, during this time he commissioned a comprehensive restoration performed by experts in the field. The exterior is finished in Laguna Beige with Tan leather interior and beautiful wood dash panels. This lovely example is well sorted out and is an absolute pleasure and privilege to drive.

Was there ever an answer to the request for photos of the under carriage and details of the restoration?

  • JKA923 says:

A driving video would be helpful as would pictures of the undercarriage and details on the restoration, condition of the paint and miles on engine? Thanks.

This car is owned by a close personal friend of the owner of our dealership, we are assisting him with the sale. He purchased the car from the original owner in Fort Worth, Texas in 1978. He enjoyed the car for many years, until he decided to have it rotisserie restored by a facility that specialized in these cars in 2010. The car was completely disassembled and taken to bare metal……all components of the drivetrain, electrical, suspension and steering systems were rebuilt, replaced or overhauled. The interior was completely restored along with glass, weatherstrips and chrome…….the exterior paint is excellent and all the gauges, lights, horn, wipers are in good working order.
The car was occasionally driven (as weather and his schedule permitted), but it really has spent the bulk of its time safely in the garage.
I have driven this car personally, and it runs and drives exactly the way every Healey should….
There are extensive restoration receipts, additional parts and factory manuals that will accompany the car…they are currently in storage, we hope to have them brought to us soon. We will move the car to our service center tomorrow and put the car on a lift for pictures, it is just too low to the ground to get good shots on our showroom floor.
      Thank you,
