1962 Ford Thunderbird Sport Roadster. Beautiful Wimbledon White over red interior in overall excellent condition. Features a rebuilt and chromed out 390CI 4 Barrel Holley Carb with new Petronix Ignition and Coil, all new hoses and belts and the 12 Volt generator has been replaed with a 90 Amp Alternator that has the look of the original generator.

Automatic Transmission on the column. Interior of the car is very clean with newly reupholstered vinyl front seats and carpeting, Factory AM/FM radio with new speaker, full gauge cluster including clock and Accessory Power strip mounted on the passenger side of the console to accommodate your cell phone. Car is loaded with addtional features that include Power Steering, Brakes, Windows, Driver Seat, Factory Air Conditioning. Kelsey Hayes Wheels mounted on brand new Diamondback whitewall tires, Slide-away Steering Wheel, Sport Tonneau Cover and Sport Roadster badging.

Full power white convertible in excellent condition. Lots of recent work has been put into the car and includes a complete transmission rebuild in 2022, a new trunk liner, new convertible top relay switches and adjustable air shocks in the rear for a smooth and comfortable ride. HID headlight Conversion, Power seat motor as well as 3 of the 4 window motors have also been replaced. The car will come with a 1 spare used motor and 1 brand new still in box. Paint on the car is in overall excellent condition with only a few very minor imperfections. All the body panels line up nicely and all the chrome and badging is intact and in great condition.

The AC system functions well but needs an evaporation valve replacement. The car has a replacement Speedometer/odometer installed which shows 71K miles when the actual miles are closer to 68K. Original speedo comes with the car. Car will come with cover, some documentation of work performed, lots of spare and original parts including a full set of factory spoke wheels and spinners and a clean MA title in the owner’s name. The car runs, drives and handles beautifully.

Owner says he doesn’t see why not but he persoanlly doesn’t currently use it as a daily driver

Does this car leak oil,run hot,pull to the side when braking and how’s the weather stripping?

See previous question on leaks. Car rides on radial tires and has been aligned. Owner says car pulls “a little bit” at higway speeds but believes that is typical for these cars. Lots of new weather stripping. Some minor areas needing attention include on the passenger side under the top could use replacement and they sell kits for each side. Around the vent window. It’s once piece around the window that could use replacement. Can’t find piece and owner says it has to get sent out to get the piece made and returned. Rubber around the rear driver’s side taillight could use replacement as shown.

Hello. How are body mounts? Is it leaving any drips/drops/puddles on the ground when it sits for a while? Does everything operate normally? Does the AC a low cold? AC compressor clutch work normally? Transmission shift smoothly? Any overheating of engine? Are the K/H wheels in good shape, pitting/curb rash? Thanks for answering!

Owner says body mounts are good. Power steering was dripping a bit at wingnut but gasket replaced and not leaking anymore. No addtional leaks according to woenr. AC needs evaporator valve installed. When last tested with R12, blew cold for 1/2 hour until pressure lost due to valve. All else with AC works as it should according to owner. Transmission was rebuilt about 6 months ago and shifts smoothly. the additional K/H wheels are 47 spoke, in decent condition with some minor rust/pitting and need to be cleaned up. Car is driven in parades yearly and owner states that it has never overheated and that temp gauge never has gone more than halfway.
