Do you have pictures of any exterior blemishes and close ups of the dash as well as leaks.. Also, what else other than ac is not functioning properly?
from the seller:
Everything else works on the car. There are no blemishes, just light paint swirling. You can click your dash pictures and zoom in. I can’t get better photos than those.
Are you able to confirm the hp for the 283?
from the seller:
The 1958 Chevrolet Impala with a 283 cubic inch engine could produce varying horsepower depending on the specific configuration.
The base 283 engine, the Turbo-Fire, offered 185 horsepower.
However, Chevrolet offered optional versions of the 283 that produced more power: a 230 horsepower version with a four-barrel carburetor and even higher outputs with dual-quad or fuel-injected setups.
This vehicle has the 4bbl Edelbrock so it is most likely around 230HP but we do not have a Dyno sheet or anything that definitively says the HP.
