This 1955 Sedan Delivery belonged to one of our esteemed clients, who unfortunately passed away recently. He and his beautifully restored resto-mod were frequent participants at numerous local shows and club events, always receiving warm reception. The restoration was completed several years ago, with ongoing updates since then.
Under the hood, a GM fuel-injected LS2 V8 engine, upgraded with aluminum LS3 heads, powers this vehicle. It’s paired with a 4L70E 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission and matched with a Ford 9” rear end featuring a 3.70:1 gear ratio. Cooling is managed by a highly polished aluminum radiator/condenser setup with dual electric fans, while a quick-ratio power rack and pinion steering system ensure responsive handling. Power front disc brakes provide reliable stopping power, and an aluminized dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers delivers a deep, rich tone.
For comfort, the vehicle is equipped with Vintage Air Conditioning and Heating, an Ididit tilt steering column, Dakota analog instruments, and a rear-view mirror integrated with a back-up camera display. Custom Ultra Leather covers the front and rear bench seats, along with all interior panels, while the cargo area floor has been padded and carpeted. The custom “Double Nickel” graphics are vinyl and can be removed before delivery if desired.

As we approach the final hours of our auction, we would like to thank everyone for their bids so far…this is an extremely nice, well sorted out car. We prepared it for a very good customer several years ago, the drivetrain was upgraded with all new components…not your typical “junk yard swap” like you see today on so many cars.
