Presenting this completely restored 1953 MG TD, a classic British sports car exuding timeless charm and appeal. The restoration involved various enhancements, including a freshly rebuilt MGB engine, doubling the original horsepower, along with a new alternator, rebuilt SU carbs with air cleaners, and a rebuilt 4-speed transmission with a new clutch. Additionally, new 15” wire wheels and tires were installed, along with a new oil cooler and oil lines, an electric radiator fan, twin fuel pumps (one for emergency use), and electronic ignition. Furthermore, upgrades such as powder-coated headers, MGA front disc brakes, and an MGA back axle with a 3.9 GB diff were incorporated for improved performance.

The vehicle boasts excellent chassis and wood floors, pristine chrome, a rear luggage rack, and a folding windshield with twin racing screens. The exterior is adorned in deep British Racing Green, complemented by a new matching tonneau cover, side view mirrors mounted on the fenders, and fog lights. Recent additions include a new battery and a turn signal added to the steering column.

Modern conveniences within the interior include a hidden modern stereo/CD player, a 12v outlet with USB outputs, an onboard trickle charger, and seat belts. With less than 375 miles added by the current owner, this seventy-year-old vehicle presents an incredible opportunity to own a meticulously crafted classic with contemporary comforts and safety features.

While retaining its stock exterior, interior, dash, and gauges for show-ready appeal, the MG TD surprises with double the horsepower, an improved drivetrain, ignition, cooling, and other enhancements.
