The previous buyer refused to pay his buyer’s fee –  this truck is still for sale!

  • Euphoria says:

Great, I will keep my eye on the bidding. I noticed the tag is 2019, are the photos a current representation of the vehicle? Any blemishes to be noted?

    • powertourpacer says:

Photos are current…I put old tag on for pics for security reasons. Photo #54 shows current tag for 2021 ending in “7U3”. It shows partial numbers and registered for 2021. She has been on the road since build. I can send copy of current registration if you wish. In the past I had problems with individuals “walking” on my property to see my classic cars.

    • powertourpacer says:

In photo # 57 you will note touch up on edge of fender and I forgot to post there is a one inch touch up on drivers front fender where drivers door was opened too wide and made a scratch…original touch up paint is included Summer Green # 46558 and Lemon Ice #OEM

    • Euphoria says:

Thank you for the clarification. Again I’ll watch and see of your reserve is met. If not reach out to me- good luck!

    • Don4321 says:

I am selling the 51 Studebaker that you were interested in June of 2021. Interested?

    • powertourpacer says:

Just a note I dropped the $25,000 Reserve to NO RESERVE as you mentioned for me to reach out to you if reserve is not met…this will give everybody a chance now to own this great Studebaker…thank you Euphoria!

    • Euphoria says:

With the reserve lifted and no time for an inspection a few final questions please.
      1) any leaks or weeping from any seals?
      2) pin striping hand painted or stick on?
      3) car would need to be shipped to me, how many days would you allow for me to arrange that transport?
Thank you for your honesty, much appreciated.

    • powertourpacer says:

There was a week for any type of inspection whether personally or from any reputable inspection company which there are a few nationwide, so if anybody still wants an inspection, you are welcome to. Recommendations would be Lemon Squad or POMCAR.
      1) no leaks
      2) pin striping is tape. When the vehicle was painted I thought it need more “in your face” attitude, so we went
tape route as I did not want to wait 6 weeks (that was the lead time after she was finished).
      3) Stude is garaged under cover in my basement garage. I have my other Stude there also. My anti-theft device is a 357…LOL. I can keep the vehicle up to a month if you wish.

    • Euphoria says:

I’ve used the Lemon Squad and they are top notch. Been looking for a street rod for months and they saved me a bunch of grieve. Only dealt with private sellers, never an auction. So excuse me on how they work. Auction ends tomorrow so an inspection would be out as once sold its sold, correct me if I’m wrong. If I won the bid the truck would be relocated to Maryland.

    • powertourpacer says:

With the Stude you would have no mechanical problems with. I have driven her long distance and maintenance done regularly. This is my first auction here on ACC so I’m new at this also. Wife thought I was crazy to remove the reserve. My brother lives on Long Island and has used the same shipper for his ’73 Firebird & his wife’s ’70 Mustang so I can recommend his if you are interested. If you decide not to bid I wish you well with your endeavors on finding a nice street rod!

    • Euphoria says:

You’ve been very helpful, for that I’m thankful. I wish I could see and hear it running, I wanting something that sounds nice, to use and enjoy. At 59 years old I’ve waited long enough for a classic car. Let’s see what the day brings and how the bidding goes. In looking at the photos I’m unable to see the blemishes you disclosed. Not to fond of posting messages all can view.its a handsome, fun looking truck. My best to you as well.

    • ACC Auctions says:

we would be happy to get the 2 of you in touch privately if that helps. we want everyone to feel 100% comfortable when bidding

    • powertourpacer says:

Thank you ACC! If he is interested, please pass my phone #…as an aside, this is my wife’s classic and at 74 she decided to have somebody else enjoy so he would have a good 15 years with the Stude…LOL. Thank you again for the great auction!

  • Euphoria says:

    Where is the truck located?
    When was the build done?
What is the current miles on it and how many miles were on the motor prior to the build?
    Thank you in advance.

    • powertourpacer says:

      Hi !
The truck is located in Cookeville, TN. That’s mid-way between Nashville & Knoxville on I-40 (then about 2 miles south ). The build was done about 5 years ago only putting on 18,000 miles as shown. The motor was rebuilt at time of build of truck including new distributor, etc. As she is driven alot the underside is a bit dirty. With the pandemic last year there were no shows so only local drives with one long distance drive to Atlanta (5 hrs. on way). Thank you for your interest!

  • UncleAL says:

WOW ! Beautiful truck ! I would be SHOCKED if it sold for less than $25,000….gotta have that much invested in rebuild. Looks like a top notch resto to me ! Good luck to the purchaser and enjoy this fine ride.
