1932 Ford Model B 5-Window Hot Rod – All-Steel Family Build with Serious Muscle

This 1932 Ford Model B 5-Window Hot Rod is one of the most culturally significant platforms in American hot rodding history — and this particular example backs that legacy with more than four decades of dedicated family ownership, a blown stroker small block, and a level of build quality that shows at every turn. An all-steel body over an aftermarket boxed frame, a Dyer’s 6-71 supercharged 347ci V8, and a chrome-filled engine bay make this coupe as impressive to look at as it is to drive. Clean Massachusetts title in the owner’s name.

Performance & Drivetrain

  • 1971 Ford 302 stroked to 347 cubic inches — built for both street manners and serious power delivery
  • Dyer’s 6-71 blower running approximately 6 pounds of boost — fed by dual 600 CFM Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetors on a high-rise manifold
  • 7:1 compression and .600-lift roller camshafts — engineered to maximize power across a broad RPM range
  • Automatic transmission with B&M shifter and 4,000 RPM stall converter for controlled, confident power transfer
  • Ford 9-inch rear end with 3.71 Auburn limited-slip gearing — a proven, time-tested combination in performance hot rods
  • MSD ignition system with Mallory distributor and crab cap for reliable, high-output spark delivery
  • Dual fuel pump setup — both manual and electric with toggle control — ensuring consistent fuel delivery under any condition
  • New radiator with electric cooling fan and manual override to keep temperatures in check

Exterior Features

  • Blue paint in overall excellent condition — a clean, classic presentation that suits the 5-window coupe roofline perfectly
  • All-steel body — one of the most desirable attributes in the hobby, and increasingly rare in a build of this quality
  • Removable fiberglass front and rear fenders for flexibility between show and open-wheel rod configurations
  • Tinted safety glass throughout
  • Custom Weston alloy wheels — Mickey Thompson P325/50R15 rear tires for a wide, aggressive stance; Goodyear S4S 185/70R14 fronts for balanced handling
  • All-steel trunk — unfinished and rust-free — fitted with custom stainless trim and housing the battery and audio components cleanly out of sight

Interior Features

  • Custom stainless steel dashboard — a showpiece that blends period character with purposeful craftsmanship
  • Custom bench seat keeps the cabin true to the era while providing comfortable accommodation
  • Stewart Warner gauges for accurate, driver-focused instrumentation
  • AM/FM cassette stereo with power antenna for road-ready audio
  • Column-mounted switch for exhaust cutout control — transition from a mellow cruise tone to open exhaust without leaving the driver’s seat
  • B&M shifter with line lock (red button) for controlled, effortless burnouts when the moment calls for it
  • Directional signals, emergency brake, and windshield wiper — fully equipped for road use and inspection

Chassis & Equipment

  • Aftermarket boxed frame for improved rigidity and performance capability over the original ladder rails
  • Tubular front suspension with 4-inch drop axle — delivers the classic low, planted stance without compromising drivability
  • Wilwood front disc brakes with rear drums — modern stopping confidence up front where it counts most
  • Flowmaster dual exhaust with driver-controlled cutout — capable of producing blue flames on demand
  • 12-volt electrical conversion with alternator — a clean, modern foundation beneath the vintage exterior
  • Custom stainless firewall with fully hidden wiring — engine bay presentation at its finest
  • Ford Racing chrome valve covers and extensive chrome detailing throughout the engine compartment
  • Included extra parts: 351 cylinder heads, additional valve covers, new gasket sets, carburetor jet kits, extra dashboards, shop manuals, and more — decades of careful stewardship in a single package
  • Car cover and clean Massachusetts title in the owner’s name

The Driving Experience

  • The 347ci stroker and Dyer’s 6-71 blower combination delivers a power band that is broad, immediate, and unmistakable — with the dual Edelbrock carbs and high-rise manifold ensuring the blower is always fed what it needs
  • The 4,000 RPM stall converter and Ford 9-inch with Auburn limited-slip translate all of that power to the pavement cleanly and predictably
  • Flowmaster dual exhaust with a driver-controlled cutout means you set the tone — refined cruise or full-throated aggression, at the flip of a switch
  • Drop spindles, tubular suspension, and Wilwood front discs mean the car handles and stops with real confidence, not just looks the part
  • Wide Mickey Thompson rears, a custom stainless interior, and a blown small block under a gleaming hood make every drive feel like the event it is
