This 1932 Ford 3-Window Coupe Hi-Boy represents the essence of the classic American hot rod—lightweight, powerful, beautifully finished, and built to turn heads wherever it goes. Registered as a 1932 Ford and featuring a Hastings fiberglass body, this custom coupe sits on a TCI chassis equipped with a fully chromed independent front suspension and polished stainless four-link rear suspension, delivering both show-quality presentation and confident road manners.
Power comes from a Blueprint-built 396 cubic inch small block Chevrolet producing approximately 495 horsepower, fitted with aluminum heads and topped by a polished Edelbrock dual-quad intake with twin Edelbrock carburetors. A polished Shotgun Bill’s scoop with K&N filters crowns the engine, while MSD ignition ensures strong spark and reliability. The engine has less than 500 miles since installation. It is paired with a built 700R4 automatic transmission, upgraded with a larger pump and additional clutches, and matched to a B&M 2700 stall converter and a large 30-inch chrome transmission cooler. Power is sent to a Currie 9-inch rear end with 3.55 posi, delivering excellent acceleration and cruising capability.
Stopping power comes from Wilwood polished four-wheel disc brakes, while rack-and-pinion steering and Alden chrome coil-over shocks at all four corners help provide stable handling. The undercarriage reflects the attention to detail throughout the build, with polished fuel and brake lines and carefully finished welds for a clean, smoothed appearance.
The exterior finish is truly one-of-a-kind. The car is finished in House of Kolor Hot Pearl Pink, accented by three sets of multi-color flames that flow throughout the entire vehicle—including the belly pan, under the hood, inside the side panels, and across the dash. The result is a striking presentation that commands attention at cruise nights and car shows alike.
Inside, the coupe features a custom interior by Landon Interior Designs, trimmed in pearl white vinyl with navy blue carpeting. Modern conveniences include air conditioning, power windows, LED accent lighting, a Billet Specialties chrome tilt steering column, white-face gauges, and an AM/FM/CD stereo with Bluetooth connectivity. The car also features suicide doors with electric poppers, an electric lift trunk, and a hidden under-dash shifter, all of which add to its custom appeal.
The current owner purchased the car already completed and has added additional chrome and polished accents during ownership. The car has been kept in a climate-controlled garage and driven sparingly, with approximately 400 miles added by the current owner. While beautifully presented, the car is described as a driver and shows a couple small rock chips on the grille and minor hairline cracks at the corners of the trunk, both very minor and typical for a driven custom build.
With its high-horsepower Blueprint engine, show-quality detailing, and unforgettable House of Kolor flame paintwork, this 1932 Ford Hi-Boy Coupe offers a thrilling blend of performance, craftsmanship, and unmistakable hot rod style.
