Design & Body: The distinctive vintage look features a long hood, exposed exhaust pipes, and free-standing headlights. The passenger cabin, windows, and doors were notably sourced from the MG Midget. Engine: Under the retro shell, the 1978 model utilized a powerful 6.6-liter (400 cubic inch) Ford or Lincoln Continental V8 engine, paired with a 3-speed Ford C6 automatic transmission. Known for opulent luxury, interiors often featured Italian walnut burl dashboards and crystal ashtrays. Production: Alain Clénet strictly limited the Series I to just 250 units, and they were widely purchased by celebrities, including Sylvester Stallone, Rod Stewart, and Farrah Fawcett .
