Most 1971–1974 Chargers you find today fall into one of two camps: original survivors that still drive like 1974, or big-power builds sitting on a front suspension that was never really designed for that level of performance. This one went a different direction. It is a modified 1974 Charger with real money spent in the two places that most directly change how a car feels on the road: what stops it and what holds it to the pavement. Under the front end is a full aftermarket tubular coil-over conversion with the torsion bars removed and replaced by adjustable coil-overs, tubular control arms, rack-and-pinion steering, a front sway bar, and Mustang II-style spindles. Wilwood four-piston disc brakes at all four corners complete the package. This is not a numbers-matching restoration and it does not pretend to be. It is a Charger built to be driven hard, stopped confidently, and enjoyed for what it is.
