This is a 1970 Pontiac Firebird Formula 400 restomod four speed, that was the lucky recipient of a detailed restoration! Powered by an extremely strong running 400ci /

415 HP mated to the original Muncie four speed transmission. The engine compartment is highly detailed with chrome and billet components and shows well.

There is power four wheel Wilwood disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors. There is a chrome power steering unit along with a billet pulley system and 17″ custom honeycomb wheels.

The paint is nice with a deep shine and a mirror like reflection. The fit & finish with the body panels is very nice, The undercarriage is extremely nice and show fantastic.

  • There are small paint bubbles on the rear panel above both sides of the license plate.
  • Two minor surface cracks (about 1 inch and 1.35 inches) on the clear coat in front of the driver-side headlight panel.
  • The front and quarter panels have no filler work — verified firmly by magnet.

I purchased this vehicle in July 2023. It is an exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and eye-catching muscle car in excellent condition. Over the past two years, I’ve only driven it about 680 miles, mainly on a few weekends to local Cars & Coffee events. This is a very few original muncie four speed on earth! The previous owner, a university professor from Pennsylvania, had the car for about 20 years. During his ownership, the entire restomod work was completed. Since I acquired it, the car remains in the same super-mint condition and continues to present itself fantastically. A few months ago, I suffered a sports injury to my right arm, and the ligament has not healed properly, making it difficult for me to drive a manual transmission. For this reason, I sincerely hope this car will find its next caretaker—someone equally passionate and meticulous in appreciating it.
