This 2003 Mercedes-Benz SL500 is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 paired with a five-speed automatic transmission, and it is finished in Fire mist Red over gray leather. Equipment includes a retractable hardtop, chrome-finished 18″ AMG wheels, power-adjustable and heated seats, COMAND navigation, and a Bose CD stereo system. The car was first registered in New Jersey and spent time in several states before it was acquired by the current NY owner in 2022. This R230 SL has 70 k miles with manufacturer’s literature, a Carfax report, and a clean New York title. A recent lemon squad inspection report can also be provided.

The car is finished in Fire mist Red (548) and features a retractable hardtop, xenon headlights with washers, fog lights, and fender vents. The Carfax report documents minor damageĀ to the front left of the car in August 2018.

Chrome-finished 18″ AMG Monobloc wheels are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport All-Season tires sized 255/40 up front and 285/35 out back. The car is equipped with Active Body Control suspension and cross-drilled front rotors. The Carfax report shows that the front strut assemblies were replaced in May 2020.

The cabin is upholstered in gray leather, and burl walnut veneer accents the matching dashboard and door panels. Amenities include power-adjustable and heated seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, a Bose CD stereo, and COMAND navigation. Power door locks do not work.

A leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 70 k miles.

The 5.0-liter M113 V8 was factory rated at 302 horsepower and 339 lb.-ft of torque. The Carfax report indicates that the oil was changed in January 2021.
