This 1997 Ford F-250 HD represents a clean, increasingly collectible example of Ford’s legendary OBS era—a body style that continues to gain appreciation among enthusiasts who value durability, simplicity, and timeless truck design.
Finished in a classic white and blue color combination over a gray interior, this Extended Cab, 8-foot bed F-250 retains its honest, factory-correct appearance while benefiting from thoughtful upkeep. Power is provided by Ford’s proven 7.5L V8, paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive and a capable 4-wheel-drive system, a drivetrain combination that helped define Ford’s heavy-duty reputation in the 1990s.
With 114,000 miles, this truck presents as a well-preserved survivor rather than a heavily modified or overworked example. Features such as air conditioning, power windows and locks, tilt steering wheel, trailer tow package, and the original-style AM/FM cassette stereo reinforce its period-correct charm. Recent new shocks improve ride quality without detracting from originality.
Offered with a clean title and Carfax report, this OBS F-250 HD is ideal for the collector or enthusiast seeking a usable classic—one that can be driven, enjoyed, and appreciated as these trucks continue to gain recognition in the collector market.

How is the body and undercarriage as far as rust is concerned?
The other side of the truck is rust free, there are photos showing the other side of the truck, also back some years ago. We had the underside coated with a petroleum base solution, which helped maintain the undercarriage. The body also has no rust, there are a few scratches here and there which are very very minor, also I show those pictures as well.
Why no pics of the underside? If you want to sell this truck especially from Pa., you need pics of the underside showing ALL the rust or lack thereof.
There are pictures of the underside, showing that the truck is rust free
