By 1991, the Alfa Romeo Spider had earned more than two decades of continuous production while faithfully preserving the timeless Pininfarina silhouette first penned in the 1960s. This Series 4 model brought body-colored composite bumpers, a redesigned rear fascia, and revised taillights — a cleaner, more contemporary look layered over one of Italy’s most beloved open-air designs. Finished in striking Alfa Red over a well-preserved beige interior with suede inserts, this Spider delivers the spirited performance, engaging manual gearbox, and free-revving twin-cam character that have long made these roadsters enthusiast favorites.

This is the Base Model Spider — a specification often overlooked in favor of the Veloce, yet mechanically nearly identical. Both share the same 2.0-liter twin-cam engine, Bosch fuel injection, five-speed manual, and rear-drive dynamics, with the Veloce adding largely cosmetic and convenience upgrades.
