1978 Datsun 280Z 2+2 – 3-Owner, Low-Mileage Example with Extensive Service History

Originally owned by a member of the McBroom family—owners of McBroom Luxury Auto Sales in Kankakee, Illinois—this 1978 Datsun 280Z 2+2 has a great history. In 1979, it was sold with just 5,000 miles to its second owner, who cherished the car for the next 44 years. Throughout his ownership, the car was meticulously serviced, with all receipts carefully saved and passed along with the car. In 2023, the third and most recent owner invested over $9,000 to bring the Z up to top mechanical condition, and he also preserved all documentation.
