This 1975 Lincoln mark iv is a one owner vehicle.

This vehicle is in very original condition. Its original black paint still has a nice deep gloss to it.

The body only shows to have some corrosion on the front fenders lower section ( see pictures )

The undercarriage is in very nice condition ( see pics ) The original vinyl top is in excellent condition with no tears. The interior is also original and in great shape with showing minimal wear for its age.

Driving this car is like stepping back in time. The 460 v8 runs excellent, transmission shifts excellent. This car cruises down the highway at 65 without any issue’s.

Since acquiring the car we have done quite a bit of work to it. This car was in storage for quite some time. Work started with a fresh oil change and priming the engine with oil. We then before starting replaced the fuel tank, fuel sending unit and rebuilt the carburetor. A new OEM brass 3 row radiator was installed. As well as replacing the rag joint for the steering.

Once the engine was running we replaced the vacuum advance unit and changed the oil again.

Before driving the car we replaced to rear brake hoses and the master cylinder for the vehicle’s factory 4 wheel disc brakes. A new muffler was installed onto what appears to be the original exhaust. Four brand new tires were installed 235/75/15 star fire solarus classics.

The hideaway headlights function correctly as well as the power windows, locks and seat. The radio powers on and the antenna and 8 track work. But the radios tuner does not work. The ac system is not working at this time. The small brake light is illuminated on the dash. But the brakes function correctly and stop the vehicle very well. There is a crack in the windshield passenger side down low. We are going to try a repair on this.

The exterior of the car is in great shape with showing some wear for its age. The paint is say is 85% original. The drivers front fender and door may have had paint work years ago. These two original panels have their paint showing some age. They still have great gloss and are single stage paint ( see pictures ) All body panels still show their gold star paint stamps ( see pictures ) All chrome and bright work appears to be original.

This vehicle is ready to be driven and enjoyed.

You can enjoy as is or continue and make it pristine, up to you. Either way it’s a true time capsule that still turns heads and is a blast to drive.
