This 1973 Pontiac Firebird Esprit has been exceptionally well cared for, with the previous owner keeping it since 1990. Spending most of its life in the dry climates of Arizona and Colorado, it’s no surprise that this car stands out for its clean body, straight lines, and impressive overall condition. One of only 17,249 Esprits produced in 1973, this example shines with a high-quality paint finish and a smooth, classic profile.

The interior is equally impressive, featuring a custom Dakota Digital dash and reupholstered front seats that retain the original factory look using premium materials. The dash is in outstanding shape with no cracks or damage.

Performance & Powertrain
Under the hood is a powerful Pontiac 468 stroker V8, built from a 400 block with an Eagle 455 crankshaft. It’s fitted with SKP pistons, heavy-duty rods, Edelbrock aluminum Performer heads (72cc valves), a Comp cam and lifters, mid-rise intake, and an Edelbrock AVS carb. An HEI GM distributor provides reliable ignition. This engine runs strong and delivers an aggressive tone through a dual exhaust system with headers—it’s one of the quickest cars in our showroom.

Chassis & Braking
Up front, you’ll find a Baer Brake Kit with slotted, drilled, and zinc-coated rotors, paired with adjustable coilovers for a dialed-in ride. Out back, disc brakes are mounted in a Moser 12-bolt rear end. All pads and rotors are in great condition, offering confident braking power.

Transmission
Backing the engine is a B&M Street/Strip Turbo-Hydramatic 400 3-speed automatic transmission, upgraded with a deep pan, external cooler, and a 1,800 RPM stall torque converter for crisp shifts and quick launches.
