1969 CHEVROLET NOVA SS L78

Flawless Restoration, 396/375 HP, 4-Speed

Some cars are just meant to be driven, but this 1969 Chevrolet Nova SS L78 is meant to be admired, revered, and owned by a true connoisseur. This isn’t just another muscle car, it’s a statement of power, precision, and pedigree. A nut-and-bolt, body-off restoration has returned this Butternut Yellow beauty to its factory-correct glory, preserving every detail that made the L78 Nova SS one of the most feared street warriors of its time.

BUILT FOR THE PURIST, RESTORED FOR THE COLLECTOR

This isn’t a restomod, nor a tribute. This is a factory L78, 396/375 HP, 4-speed beast, a car that Chevrolet designed for those who craved unfiltered, big-block brutality in a lightweight package. With its M21 close-ratio 4-speed transmission, 3.55 Positraction rear end, and F41 special-purpose suspension, this Nova was built to dominate the quarter-mile while maintaining a level of street manners that made it one of Chevrolet’s most legendary sleepers.

FACTORY-EQUIPPED & COLLECTOR-WORTHY

  • L78 396ci/375 HP Turbo-Jet V8. The most powerful factory engine option available
  • M21 Close-Ratio 4-Speed Transmission. A purist dream for precise shifting
  • Positraction Rear Axle (3.55 Gears) Designed for explosive acceleration
  • F41 Special Purpose Suspension Heavy-duty components for enhanced handling
  • Power Disc Brakes & Power Steering, Muscle with modern-day drivability
  • AM/FM Stereo, Electric Clock & Rear Seat Speaker. A touch of refinement in a brute-force package
  • Wood Grain Steering Wheel

If you’re looking for a car that will elevate your collection, this L78 Nova SS checks all the boxes. It’s factory-correct, restored to concourse-quality, and documented as a true L78 survivor. The deep-gloss Butternut Yellow finish, immaculate black vinyl interior, and correct SS badging make this one of the most stunning Novas on the market.

With high-performance Chevys commanding stronger values each year, this L78 Nova SS is the real deal, an investment that will only appreciate.

    • Tuna2 says:

KarlM as far as I can tell it is . The engine # corresponds to the bill date , which is a late 1969 Nova SS L78 and the car does have all the options that you would find on on. Please look up the Vin # and options plate #s as I did to confirm it’s a Nova SS L78 and take a look at the window sticker them options are confirmed on the car… thank you for taking a look at the car… it’s an amazing build as can be seen in the picture. It’s Beautiful
