Regarding the ignition system, it is a regular General motors HEI Ignition sytstem, no issues. Only new parts were used throughout the car when it was built. And all parts can be found at any auto parts store.
Regarding the tires, I am not seeing any date stamp. But the tires have always been on the car in a garage and show no signs of cracking/wear. See additional tire pictures added.
As for what I would do first, nothing, unless you want to adjust the front coil-overs to fit your driving style. Right now they are set soft, but could use adjusting to tighten them up.

Can this Healey be registered as a 1967 or is it considered a specialty car and must be smog. I live in California.
It is titled as a 1967 in CT so would think so but advise checking first with CA registry before purchase.
