1966 Ford Mustang Convertible

This 1966 Mustang boasts a 271 HP solid lifter K Code engine paired with a C4 Automatic Transmission. It comes with the GT package featuring an 8K tachometer. With the same owner for over 20 years, this convertible has been meticulously maintained, always garaged, and proves to be a great driving car.

Listed in the HIPO Mustang Exchange, it features newer redline tires with less than 500 miles of wear, a new Convertible hydraulic pump and cylinders, and new Carpet and Radiator Hoses. The C4 transmission has been rebuilt with the correct C servo, and all front suspension rubber bushings have been replaced. Additional updates include a newer Alternator, a rebuilt 9″ rear end, COBRA Aluminum manifold with Cobra Valve covers, and front disc brakes. The Kelsey Hayes proportioning valve has been rebuilt, and newer rear drums installed.

This Mustang runs and drives strong, with an excellent frame and body free of rust. The paint and chrome are in very good condition. However, there are a few known issues: the AM/FM 8 Track radio receives power but does not work, the power top on the passenger side raises and lowers slightly canted, the trunk has a separate key from the doors, and there is slight seepage from the transmission pan.
