1966 Ford Mustang Fastback

1966 was only the third year of the Mustang. Overall the Mustang models are popular for their huge engines and immense power, which the 1966 Ford Fastback certainly had. The 1966 model, including this one had the option of a 4.7-liter Windsor V8 engine, which could offer great power as well as be economical and reliable.

These attributes typically do not go hand in hand. However, Ford managed to pull all of them out of the bag to satisfy the audience of the ’60s. The 1966 Ford Fastback Mustang is hands down a classic and iconic car.

From its high horsepower to rugged body design, there isn’t anything non-classic to say about this Mustang.Ford is popular for its Mustang models, especially the classic Fastback designs in the 1960s. The 1966 model was most popular for some of its unique new colors and interior accessories.

It was a high contender during the ’60s and it sure did have a lot of rivals looking to outdo it.This car we just got in does the Mustang name justice. It is a great looking car done in a dark blue exterior with an all new custom TMI black leather interior.

It does have the 289 CI V8 Ford engine in it with an automatic C4 transmission. It has been upgraded to power rack and pinion steering. It has newer Mustang torque thrust style wheels.

Power brakes with disc brakes and drilled and slotted rotors on the front. 2+2 style coupe and the new TMI leather back seats fold down just like the original 2+2 Mustang seats did. The paint, lines, gaps and underbody are all very nice on this vehicle.

The interior is immaculate and the custom black leather TMI seats look great and are comfortable to sit in. It has the automatic on the floor in the center console, has new carpet, kick panel speakers, Retro Radio and the rest of the interior is in great condition as well.

Has a nice looking wooden Mustang emblazoned steering wheel.Besides the engine, under the hood you have an aluminum radiator, set of long tube headers, Edelbrock Intake and Carburetor,

Ford Racing valve covers and this car starts right up, runs and drives great.

If you are looking for a 1960’s Mustang Fastback at this price point you will be hard pressed to find one nicer.
