1965 Ford Mustang Coupe. Original 289CI/200HP C-Code car built in November 1964 with factory 3 speed manual transmission with 2.80 axle. Numbers matching Engine with 2 Barrel replacement carb was rebuilt and modified about 18 years ago with mild cam and equipped with Hooker Headers.
Driven approximately 10k miles since rebuild. Repainted in the factory correct Code Y Silver Blue and paint and is in overall very good condition with some imperfections as shown. Rear quarters and both door skins replaced along with some minor body work was performed prior to paint.
Black vinyl interior in decent condition but will need some work to the headliner, dash and seats as shown as well as addition of the kick panel on passenger side needed. Rare Telescopic mirror. Chrome on the car is very nice front and rear and the car is equipped with after-market fog lights.
Most badging is intact and in very nice condition. Window trim that goes with car will need to be installed around the rear window. Underneath the car is clean with solid floor panel showing some minor surface rust and featuring newer gas tank and sending unit and dual exhaust exiting through the rear valance with chrome tips. Brand new Cooper Cobra tires mounted on American Racing Rims. Hood Locks. Clean trunk compartment with spare tire.
Driver’s side door needs minor alignment along with armrest and the battery box could use replacement. Odometer nor currently working. This is a very solid Mustang that runs, drives and shifts very well. Car comes with many original and replacement parts, owners manual and Glove Box signed by Lee Iacocca. Can be driven and enjoyed as is or subject to some minor work to make it complete cosmetically. Clean Title stored in MA and passes MA inspection.
