“Nineteen sixty-four was a good year for Ford dealerships. With several successful models already on the road, the introduction of the Mustang elevated the automaker’s market share almost overnight. In its first month of production, supply was already outstripping demand for the new pony car. As the leader of “”Total Performance”” the Mustang was selected to pace the 1964 Indianapolis 500.

When it comes to universal appeal, few cars bring it quite like the Mustang. While a lot of its competitors placed an emphasis on speed, style, or some other singular piece of the puzzle, Detroit’s original pony car did its best to be everything to everyone. And a prime example of that ‘best all-around’ mindset is this good-looking coupe. Founded on the proven principle of get in and go, it wraps timeless Ford style around a standard 3 – speed and a 170 cubic inch 6 Cyl. Looking for some choice vintage metal to take to the streets or the show? Check out this gorgeous pony!

  • SunCityMike says:

Good day! As someone whose family has owned several Mustangs (including a 64.5 in classic Wimbledon White), this is one of the finest examples of a surviving base model I have seen in some time. As you have indicated it is “documented with original owner’s manual, only 45k actual miles,” are there supporting documents such as service receipts and/or title record(s) to confirm the mileage? Thanks and GLWTS!

    • FutureCL says:

Hello we do have some receipts along with title documenting actual miles. Thank you

  • black00 says:

Is there are ever have been areas of rust on the car?

    • FutureCL says:

We do not have restoration photos with the car. It appears to have been a well kept well preserved car.
