This nicely restored 1965 Chevrolet El Camino stays true to its original style with a rebuilt, numbers-matching 327ci V8 paired to a Muncie 4-speed manual transmission and Positraction rear end—believed to have 3.42 gearing. A true Southern car, it comes equipped with power steering and power brakes for easy cruising.
Finished in sleek black over a vibrant red vinyl bucket seat interior, it features a center console, full gauge cluster with new speedometer, tach, aftermarket gauges, and a Chevrolet AM/FM radio.
The body is straight with excellent panel alignment, and all chrome, trim, and badging are present and in great condition. The bed, complete with tailgate, is clean and protected with a rubber mat. Underneath, the car is very clean and features a strong-sounding dual exhaust system. It rides on American Racing Torq-Thrust wheels wrapped in Grand Prix Performance GT tires.
There are a few small paint imperfections—one on the driver’s door edge and another on the passenger pillar—but nothing that takes away from its overall show-ready look. Always garage-kept and well-maintained by the current owner, it comes with the original owner’s manual and a car cover. A true turn-key classic, ready to drive and enjoy all summer long.
