There are cars… and then there are statements. This 1956 Eldorado Seville is exactly that—a rolling symbol of mid-century American luxury, where style, presence, and engineering came together in a way the world had never seen before.

Finished in Alpine White with its original Vicodec top, and complemented by a striking red and white leather interior, this Cadillac delivers the kind of visual impact that stops people in their tracks. The chrome shines beautifully, the lines are unmistakable, and those iconic fins remind you instantly—this is the golden age of Cadillac.

Under the hood sits the original 365 cubic inch V8, topped with dual Carter four-barrel carburetors, producing an impressive 305 horsepower. Paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission, this car offers a driving experience that’s smooth, confident, and unmistakably Cadillac. Power steering and power brakes make it effortless on the road, and by the owner’s account, it runs and drives like a new 1956 Cadillac.

This example has clearly been cared for and thoughtfully improved. The entire suspension system was replaced, including springs, shocks, front-end components, steering box, and sway bar, giving the car a solid, composed ride. It rides on Coker tires mounted on Sabre wheels, and a new stainless dual exhaust adds the perfect tone. Additional mechanical updates include a new water pump, ignition components, power steering hose, oil line, gas gauge and sending unit, and a GPS speedometer—all aimed at making the car more reliable and enjoyable.

The rust-free chassis has been stripped and treated with Eastwood rust encapsulator, reflecting a level of care you don’t often see. The paint has been refinished at some point and presents very well, while the chrome ranges from very good to excellent.

Inside, the front seat has been redone, while the rear remains original, showing a bit of honest character. The carpets, dash, and trim are in excellent condition. Features include power windows, power seat, working antenna, functional lighting, and even all four cigarette lighters and blower motors in working order—a rare level of completeness.

Factory air conditioning is present, though the temperature control unit will need attention. The headliner has a couple of small imperfections, and the wipers are currently not connected—both noted for full transparency.

With just over 73,000 miles showing, and approximately 4,281 miles added over the past two years, this Cadillac has been driven, enjoyed, and maintained the way a true classic should be. The owner has even kept detailed trip records—something buyers always appreciate.
