1955 Chrysler Windsor Newport Deluxe

This 1955 Chrysler Windsor Newport Deluxe is a gorgeous example of designer Virgil Exner’s new for 55′ 100 Million Dollar Look.

With wrap around glass front and rear, big egg crate grilles up front, and vertical tail lamps, the cars did appear to cost a lot more than they actually did.

This Deluxe model hardtop has been upgraded with a 383CI Chrysler V-8 linked to a smooth 727 Torqueflight automatic transmission. Making this an everyday driver car are the additions of ice-cold AC, power steering, and power brakes with discs up front.

Inside the cabin has received a stunning red leather upgrade throughout along with a tilt steering column, seat belts, and am AM/FM/CD stereo. This Chrysler is ready to go, and the only thing it needs is you behind the wheel.
