WOW! VERY NICELY RESTORED! GM 5.0L V8, AUTO, VINTAGE A/C, CAMARO FRONT CLIP, PS, PDB, DRIVES GREAT!
Originally a Navy Fleet vehicle, this 1953 Chevrolet Suburban Carry-All now parades in a striking two-tone Burgundy and Black finish with classic styling that captures automotive Americana at its most functional. The two-door SUV’s appearance is completed with gleaming chrome bumpers, headlight casings, and a beautiful grille that emphasize its brawny lines. White wall Coker Classic tires (235/75R15 front, 215/75R15 rear) wrap around 15-inch wheels accented with chrome Chevrolet hub caps for a period-correct aesthetic. The sliding rear side windows and overall excellent body fitment showcase the quality of its full restoration.
The custom gray vinyl interior offers a perfect balance of classic style with modern comfort upgrades. Bucket seats with vinyl upholstery anchor the cabin alongside a meticulously built center console. The banjo-style steering wheel sits atop a tilt column, paired with Classic Instruments gauges including a column-mounted tachometer for accurate engine monitoring. A Kenwood AM/FM/CD/AUX head unit with remote control provides entertainment options, while the Vintage Air Gen IV Magnum system delivers air conditioning, heat, and defrost capabilities for year-round comfort regardless of weather conditions.
A GM 5.0L V8 engine provides reliable power for this classic hauler, fed by an Edelbrock 600 CFM carburetor sitting atop an Edelbrock intake manifold. The three-speed TH350 automatic transmission ensures smooth operation with minimal effort. Performance upgrades include long tube headers flowing into a dual exhaust system, power disc brakes on all four corners, and power steering courtesy of a mid-1970s Camaro front clip. The cooling system features a Be Cool radiator with electric fan, maintaining optimal temperature even during prolonged idling.

Is it a Chevy or GMC? Chevy badging on hood but General Motors Truck on dash. thanks.
?? Chevrolet is a division of General Motors.
I know that Chevrolet is a Division in GM, but GMC trucks is also a Division in GM. I have seen trucks listed on auction sites stating that they are one of those two but in actual fact they are the other Division. That is why I asked the question, there are two different badging on this truck, on the hood is Chevrolet on the dash it appears to be GMC. What is it listed on the Title? Thanks.
from the seller:
It’s titled as a 1953 Chevrolet. Clean Texas title.
Thanks
