1940 Ford Coupe Custom Restomod on 2005 Chevrolet SSR Chassis

This one-of-one 1940 Ford Coupe pairs classic Ford styling with the engineering and comfort of a 2005 Chevrolet SSR. The build took thousands of hours of engineering, fabrication, and bodywork. It rides on a complete SSR chassis and drivetrain, powered by a factory-stock 400-horsepower LS2 6.0L V8 showing just 6,095 original miles and backed by a 4L65E automatic. The all-steel body has been widened more than six inches, chopped approximately six inches, shaved of trim, and finished in deep, show-quality dual-stage Black. Inside, a full SSR interior transplant finished by Twin City Upholstery adds power heated seats, electronic climate control, and a premium DVD stereo. With Ridetech air ride, four-wheel power disc brakes with ABS, and a fully detailed undercarriage, it is a modern grand touring machine with the presence to stand out at any national show.
