1962 Studebaker Gran Turismo. The Gran Turismo Hawk’s styling was a fairly radical facelift over the older Hawk shape; it contains a European-inspired, clean look codenamed the “Hawk Monaco”. The hood from the prior Hawk was retained, but was given a more pronounced (imitation) radiator frame to more closely resemble the cars of Mercedes-Benz, which at the time were distributed by Studebaker.

The grille inside the radiator frame was patterned after the Mercedes as well. This Gran Turismo is finished in a deep, shiny Dark Blue over a very tidy matching Blue cloth interior. Under the hood lies a solid 289 cu in (factory rated at 225 HP) V8, backed by a column-shift automatic transmission.

Other amenities include bucket seats, console, dual exhaust, working AM radio, bumper guards, dual side view mirrors, full Studebaker wheel covers, wide white wall radial tires, and ice-cold air conditioning for those hot summer days!
