This 1958 Chevrolet Impala Convertible is a striking example of one of the most recognizable designs of the postwar era. Its one-year-only body styling sets it apart from every Chevrolet before or after it. Impala convertibles made up fewer than 5% of all 1958 Chevrolet production, and far fewer survive nearly 70 years later. Under the hood, the optional and correct W-Code 348 Turbo-Thrust V8 breathes through three two-barrel carburetors, sending power through a correct Powerglide 2-speed automatic. This car offers rarity, presence, and real collector value in one package.
The 1958 model year marked a bold turning point for Chevrolet. The Impala debuted as the top-of-the-line Bel Air series, offered only as a sport coupe and convertible. That same year, Chevrolet launched the new 348 “W” big-block, named for its distinctive valve-cover profile. It also introduced a new X-frame chassis, full coil-spring suspension, and quad headlights. For 1959, Chevrolet redesigned the car completely, so the sculpted lines, rear fender scoops, and triple taillights you see here belong to 1958 alone.

We really appreciate how ACC continues to work with both parties even after the live auction has ended. They were able to help us reach a deal with the high bidder 4 days after the auction ended, a deal that was fair for both sides and everyone was happy. Hard working staff at ACC really seemed to care about helping us get the sale completed even though it was not a high dollar sale that would make them much on the buyer’s fee. Will use again and will be recommending to my friends!

I am so happy with my experience buying from ACC. I appreciate the reserve meter which allowed me to plan ahead. The auction did not meet reserve but ACC helped me & the seller reach a very fair deal. The spent 3 days with me and the seller to get it done so everyone was happy! A+ work, unlike any other auction site out there!

I have purchased multiple vehicles through ACC auctions. I have a real passion for classic rare stock performance vehicles. ACC has managed to list some very unique cars, some of which I’ve been fortunate enough to win at auction. I’ve always received extraordinarily punctual high-quality service when I had questions or needed support through a transaction. I’ve even recommended friends marketing vehicles to use ACC auctions to assist them with their transactions. If I recommend them to my friends, I would certainly recommend to anybody!

I love how with ACC, they keep working with the buyer and seller to try to get a deal done even after the live auction ends. They really work hard to make sure both sides end up happy.

ACC Auctions has been a wonderful resource for us and our dealership! The process of listing vehicles on ACC Auctions is very simple and the wide exposure has helped us reach more buyers and get more cars sold. There have been times where reserves have not been met, but even after the auction has ended Joe works very hard trying to put deals together that work for both parties. And in many cases, he’s been successful. We can’t say enough about how much he cares about his customers and how hard he works to be a world-class auction site!

Joe and his team are always a pleasure to deal with. They are quick to answer any questions or concerns that a seller or buyer would have. Always willing to work with the seller and buyer to make a sale happen. The auction site is easy to navigate and user friendly. I have been dealing with Joe for many years and would highly recommend him and his team.

I’ve sold a couple cars through ACC Auctions and have experienced very satisfactory results. I find the process to list a car, place bids, and ask questions or make comments extremely simple, which is greatly appreciated by those who didn’t grow up with modern technology. The greatest benefit, though, is having the ability to communicate directly with the person in charge, Joe, and receiving timely responses. I don’t find this easily available with most widely known auction sites.
