1967 Ford Ranchero
This 1967 Ford Ranchero is a well-built, street-ready performance machine that pairs the distinctive car-based pickup style Ford pioneered with a serious drivetrain built for fun. Ford introduced the Ranchero in 1957 as America’s first modern car-based pickup. By 1967 it rode on the Fairlane intermediate platform, giving it clean, muscular proportions that have aged beautifully. This example builds on that heritage with a thoughtfully assembled package. Under the hood is a 351ci V8 bored .030 over and topped with Trick Flow Specialties cylinder heads, a Ford Motorsport solid flat tappet camshaft, an Edelbrock Victor Jr. intake, and a Holley HP 750 double-pumper carburetor.
Power flows through a C4 automatic with a JW 3200 nitrous converter to a stout Ford 9-inch rear end with a Detroit Locker and T/A Hi-Performance axles. A fiberglass full front end, with front and rear bumpers to match, sheds weight and sharpens the look. The result is a Ranchero that delivers vintage character, strong performance hardware, and plenty of attitude every time you turn the key.
