1958 Chevrolet Impala Sport Coupe

Few cars capture the optimism and flair of late-1950s America like the inaugural 1958 Chevrolet Impala. Debuting as Chevrolet’s new top-of-the-line model, it introduced dramatic one-year-only styling — a sweeping roofline, distinctive side trim, and the now-famous triple taillights that would define the Impala for generations. Offered here is a remarkably original and unmolested Sport Coupe, a genuine survivor that has been carefully preserved and always garaged. Showing just 83,112 original miles and finished in attractive Rio Red, this rust-free classic retains its factory character throughout. Slide behind the wheel of its authentic 283 Turbo-Fire V8, and you have a piece of Chevrolet heritage that runs, drives, and shows exactly as a well-cared-for first-year Impala should. A former NAPA calendar feature car, it deserves the serious attention of any discerning collector.

  • ManorAvenue says:

An absolute gem, and the after-market air conditioning unit is a double-bonus. Recalling my very first car in 1975 was a 1958 Chevy Biscayne, but it was not in anywhere near as beautiful condition as the Impala. My Chevy had been used as a ranch workhorse and was literally falling apart so I was forced to sell it as I could not afford the upkeep. How I wish I could afford to own, or had the space to garage, the Impala.
