I have several comments/questions. I appreciate your responses above which appear to be prompt when one cannot physically see the car.
The car appears to have gone through a renovation and repaint at some point. Do you have any records of this and/or history of the car?
Are there any additional imperfections/scratches/dings such as shown adjacent to the right grill surround in photo 28?
Also, the Cutlass nameplate on the right side does not appear to be snug to the car. You can see sunlight beneath the top of the lettering with the shadow below.
Are the wheels original to the car? I thought they all came in the same color as the car – i.e. these would have been yellow instead of dark gray.
The trunk mat is missing. This may have been removed when the car was repainted top to bottom and not replaced. Do you have it?.

      Hello,
As stated in my description this is an original type of car with 70,212 miles on her. (Documented on title) I’m not quite sure what you mean by renovation. Car did not have a frame off restoration it did have 1 repaint but I am not sure when she was repainted. The paint on the car is very nice (not perfect) and shows very well.
I need you to realize this is an original type of car. Interior is all original in car including door panels etc. Car was very well cared for throughout the years and was purchased new in Texas and still retains the original Dealer plate on back of car. Car then went to the Carolinas for 2 years then to me. I have no real documents of what has been done to the car or history other than what I just expressed here.
By the condition of this car, she was kept up mechanically and was kept in a climate-controlled building and driven for pleasure only throughout the years. As you may know if you are a car guy there is always some kind of imperfections in paint in every car even the ones that have had frame off restoration. This car has nothing that sticks out to or is an eye sore. Remember this is an original type of car. All emblems are nice on car not sure what you see but I do all of my photo shoots outside in the sun which unfortunately the suns play tricks on one eye on what they are seeing. No emblems are falling off or loose. There are no dings on car that I have found.
The wheels where on the car when I purchased it and I can only assume the previous owner wanted them that color and had them painted. Personally think they look good but it’s up to one’s preference. I do have trunk mat took it out for pictures as most buyers want to see the trunk pan. The picture you are referring too #28 must be the sun or a shadow as I cannot find a ding.
This car is VERY nice driving and running car. Shes not perfect as no car is perfect been collecting cars for 42+ years and I never found a perfect car out there. Some really nice ones but not perfect. -(including ourselves as we age) She is a 53-year-old original type car that was VERY well cared for.

I hope I answered all your questions and good luck with the auction!

Also, any photos of the trunk? Don’t see anything in the photo gallery or the vids.

  • FLJaws says:

Beautiful drop top! The photos show a Texas plate and dealership badge. Is the car titled in Texas, or Florida? Description says the car is in Florida.

    • FlCorvette says:

Yes car sold new in Texas and spent most of its life there till 2 years ago then it went to the Carolinas. Car is in Florida. I have vanity plates on car just for show. Dress it up a little.
      Thank you for your interest
