There may be dozens of these sedans available on the market, but if you lined them all up side by side, this show quality, exquisitely crafted Ford would stand head and shoulders above the rest. The amazing quality is evident at a glance. Anyone who appreciates excellence will appreciate the special features, and attention to detail, that make this ride spectacular. This custom ride, built by Roger Burman of Lakeside Rods & Rides, exudes class with a dazzling Charcoal Gray Metallic finish and exceptional fitment hard to find in these post war Fords. Not only does this car have the show winning quality you look for in a car, but also this first rate hot rod is a proven road car that has been well engineered to provide a great ride, easy handling, and trouble free dependability.

The interior is a symphony of custom design, worthy of any luxury car on the market today. The plush power bucket seats, door panels, headliner, console and dash are finished in pillow soft leather, and red piping and red carpets nicely complement the theme of this roomy sedan. The trunk is finished like the interior, and the Ruby Red Metallic undercarriage even follows the color scheme inside and under the hood. The original chrome jukebox style dash contains a full complement of white faced VDO classic gauges, and a tilt steering column is topped with a leather wrapped banjo steering wheel. Air conditioning, a theater quality sound system. The back seat is big enough for – uh, well, let’s just say that lots of us motorheads started life in a car like this.

Just for a second, assume this Ford didn’t have anything special under the hood – even with the original flathead motor this car would get a truckload of attention. But the beautiful thing is – this hot rod runs a strong and reliable Chevy 350 V8. The sanitary engine compartment is immaculate, has more bling than a jewelry store, and an efficient aluminum radiator keeps the water temperature at optimum operating range, even on a hot day in Las Vegas. Stainless steel exhaust pipes and mufflers are thermally wrapped to eliminate excess heat, and though the mellow sound of the exhaust sounds great outside, the car is whisper quiet in the cabin. There is new tinted glass and every square inch of chrome trim looks brand new and sparkles like diamonds. The power actuated trunk lid carries just enough nostalgic pin striping to qualify this cool ride as old school.

Behind the engine, a TH350 automatic transmission and 10 bolt GM differential with 3.55:1 gears get the power to the ground. Up front, independent suspension and rack and pinion power steering make driving the car effortless. Power disk brakes, radial steel belted tires wrapped around polished alloy 5 spoke rims. The stance on this car is what thousands of builders strive for and miss entirely. It is perfect. This car handles like a dream and stops on a dime. When you are at the wheel, though, you just don’t wanna stop.
