This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro is a stunning 2-door hardtop that blends classic pony car charm with upgraded big-block performance. Born from the fierce muscle car rivalry of the 1960s, the Camaro was Chevrolet’s bold response to the Ford Mustang and Plymouth Barracuda—marking GM’s official entry into the booming pony car segment. First launched in 1967, the Camaro quickly found success, selling over 220,000 units in its debut year. For 1968, Chevy retained the Camaro’s winning formula but refined it with a wraparound windshield, larger side glass, “Astro Ventilation,” and federally mandated side marker lights—all while improving suspension and cabin comfort.

This particular ’68 comes from a Southern collector and features an upgraded 396 cubic inch V8 paired with a 4-speed manual transmission—making it an absolute blast to drive. Performance upgrades include an Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake manifold, upgraded headers, and a dual exhaust system that delivers a deep, aggressive note. It rides on classic Rally wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires, with bright Chevy hubcaps and beauty rings finishing off the vintage muscle look.

The body is beautifully refinished in British Green Metallic, a rarely seen color on restored Camaros that adds to this car’s standout appeal.
