1970 Plymouth ‘Cuda V-Code 440 Six-Pack – 4-Speed, Galen Govier Documented, One of One
Offered for sale is a truly rare and iconic piece of Mopar history — a 1970 Plymouth ‘Cuda V-Code 440-6, documented by Galen Govier and the GTS Registry as the only known example with this exact factory option combination.
Finished in correct FE5 Rallye Red and equipped with the highly desirable A21 Elastomeric Front Bumper Package, this ‘Cuda has unmistakable curb appeal. It also features the iconic N96 Shaker Hood with its original fresh air setup still in place — a rare find on any ‘Cuda, especially one of this caliber.
Under the hood is the legendary 440 Six-Barrel V8 with its original trio of carburetors, paired to a Pistol Grip 4-speed transmission (VIN-stamped block; transmission is a correct 18-spline unit from a 1970 Charger R/T). A 3.54 Dana 60 rear end puts power to the pavement, and the car drives, shifts, and stops just as it should.
Key highlights:
Two original fender tags
Original exhaust system (minus mufflers)
New fuel tank, sending unit, fuel pump, and front suspension
Legendary seat covers and new foam cushions
Fully functional interior
Clean and solid underneath
1980s repaint that still shows well
Rally wheels with new radial tires
Original-style Goodyear Polyglas tires on rally wheels included for show
The rear air shocks allow for ride height adjustments, making it easy to dial in your preferred stance. While the broadcast sheet is not present, the rock-solid documentation confirms this car’s authenticity and rarity.
Whether you’re adding to a serious Mopar collection or looking for a high-caliber muscle car to drive and enjoy, this ‘Cuda is a standout. One of one. Show it, drive it, and own a true piece of American muscle car history.
