1956 Chevrolet Bel Air 2-Door Hardtop – Show-Quality Tri-Five, Over-the-Top Build

This ’56 Bel Air is the definition of a no-expense-spared, professionally completed restoration—an absolute standout among Tri-Fives. With modern upgrades throughout and a stunning factory-inspired finish, it’s ready to drive, show, and enjoy.

Under the hood sits a crate 350 small-block V8 pushing out 325 HP, paired with an Edelbrock 4-barrel carb and a throaty cam. The engine bay is fully dressed in chrome, including an electric Engicooler fan for reliable cooling. Power is delivered through a 200R4 overdrive automatic transmission, shifted via a Lokar floor-mounted shifter and console. A chrome IDIDIT tilt steering column adds a finishing touch.

The drivetrain features a new 3.73 rear end, power steering, new suspension components, lowered front stance, updated shocks, and power front disc brakes with rear drums—giving it the ride and handling you’d expect from a modern cruiser.
