This beautifully restored 1969 Ford F250 Good Humor Ice Cream Truck is a rare and nostalgic piece of Americana, featuring a period-correct Hackney Brothers refrigerated body and authentic Good Humor livery. A standout among vintage specialty vehicles, it’s been meticulously brought back to life and maintained by long-term Southern collectors for over two decades.

Originally born from a unique idea in the 1920s—adding a wooden stick to ice cream bars for less mess—the Good Humor brand became an American icon. By the mid-20th century, its white trucks with jingling bells were a staple in neighborhoods across the country. Built by Hackney Brothers Body Co., a pioneer in refrigerated truck bodies, this particular truck is one of very few surviving examples of Good Humor’s fleet, making it incredibly collectible.

Under the hood, this classic Ford is powered by a 240 cubic inch inline 6-cylinder engine paired with an automatic transmission, delivering around 150 horsepower. It’s easy to drive and maneuver thanks to power steering, power brakes, and dual side mirrors for improved visibility. A set of radial tires on painted steel wheels with chrome hubcaps provides a smooth ride with vintage style.
