Only 65 panel wagons were produced in 1962, and this is believed to be the only one still on the road — making it not just rare, but possibly unique. It’s already taken home 19 “Best of Show” awards, including top honors at Mopar Heaven and the Mopar Mini Nationals.
The fully custom saddle tan leather interior features dual bucket seats, a custom center console with billet cupholders, a Flaming River tilt column, and a waterfall steering wheel. The dashboard has been completely reworked and now houses Dakota Digital gauges, while comfort features include Vintage Air A/C, Bluetooth stereo with USB, power windows, and a power rear glass panel — all controlled by a keyless push-button start.
Under the hood, a modern 5.7L HEMI V8 feeds into an X-pipe dual exhaust system with chrome-tipped 45-series mufflers. A 5-speed automatic transmission channels power to a narrowed 8.25” Sure Grip rear end with 3.55 gears. Staggered polished Coys wheels — 17s up front with 225/45ZR-17 BFGs and 18s in the rear with 285/40ZR-18 rubber — give this wagon a bold, aggressive stance.
Performance is backed by an impressive chassis setup: tubular A-arm suspension, AlterKtion K-member, QA1 coilovers all around, Flaming River rack and pinion steering, and Wilwood 11″ slotted disc brakes at all four corners.
