This 2016 Tiffin Phaeton 40 QKH is a 41′ motorcoach that has been registered in California from new. Power is provided by a Cummins 8.9-liter turbodiesel inline-six linked with an Allison six-speed automatic transmission and a dually rear axle. The coach is finished in Sunlit Sand with multi-tone graphics, and it has quad slide-outs along with power-operated patio and window awnings. The power-adjustable front captain’s chairs are trimmed in beige Ultraleather, and the floor plan features a lounge area with an electric fireplace, a galley, a dinette, a bathroom, a bunk room, and an aft bedroom. Amenities consist of composite countertops, a propane cooktop, a dishwasher, a residential-style refrigerator, a washer and dryer, and flat-screen TVs. Mechanical equipment includes a 50-amp shore power connection, freshwater and waste tanks, a water filter, and an Onan generator. This Tiffin Phaeton is now offered by the selling dealer with a clean California title.

The body is finished in Sunlit Sand with multi-tone graphics, and the quad slide-outs are fitted with toppers. Power-operated Girard awnings are positioned over the patio area and above the forward windows on each side, and a rear ladder provides access to the roof. Further equipment includes four rooftop solar panels, an In-Motion automatic satellite TV antenna, clearance and driving lights, and perimeter lighting in addition to equipment bays, a keyless-entry security keypad, a receiver hitch, and a rear anti-sail flap with the Phaeton logo. Stone chips are visible on the front fascia.

Alloy 22.5″ wheels wear 275/80 Michelin tires. The Freightliner chassis rides on an air-adjustable suspension with an HWH auto-leveling system, and stopping power is provided by air-actuated anti-lock brakes. An Onan 10kW diesel-fueled generator is housed in an equipment bay on a slide-out platform, and additional infrastructure equipment includes a central water filter, a 90-gallon freshwater tank, a 66-gallon gray water tank, a 50-gallon black tank, six house batteries, a 2kW inverter, and connections for fresh water, waste disposal, and 50-amp electrical service.

The forward compartment houses swiveling power-adjustable captain’s chairs trimmed in beige Ultraleather upholstery complemented by a color-coordinated dash surround and carbon-fiber-style accents. The windshield privacy shade is power operated, and further details include sliding side windows, reverse and side-view cameras, an overhead flat-screen TV, and a Kenwood touchscreen DVD infotainment system with Garmin navigation and satellite radio capability.

The multi-function steering wheel wears a Freightliner logo and sits ahead of an 85-mph speedometer, a 4k-rpm tachometer, and supplementary gauges. The digital odometer shows 41k miles. The Carfax report notes a mileage inconsistency in December 2021.

The living quarters feature a 7′ ceiling height and are outfitted with porcelain tile floors, recessed lighting, Mocha-tone varnished wood cabinetry, a central vacuum system, and ducted climate control. The forward lounge area houses a fold-out sofa bed, a reclining and swiveling chair, and an LG flat-screen TV with dual wireless headphones. The galley is equipped with composite countertops, a three-burner propane cooktop with a solid-surface cover, and a drawer-style dishwasher in addition to a Sharp convection microwave oven, a dual basin sink, and a Maytag residential-style refrigerator and freezer. A dinette is positioned across from the galley and has bench seating and a folding table. The upholstery is discolored on the forward bench.

The bedroom is furnished with a queen bed along with a ceiling fan, recessed lighting, a built-in dresser, bedside shelves with power outlets, and switch panels for lighting and climate control. An LG flat-screen TV is mounted above the dresser, while an Ariston washer and dryer are housed in a compartment behind a sliding door.

The bathroom is equipped with an enclosed shower, a toilet, a ceiling vent, a sink, and a vanity. A bunk room across the hall houses a pair of twin bunk beds and a window with curtains.

The 8.9-liter Cummins ISL turbodiesel inline-six sends power to the rear wheels through an Allison 3000-MH six-speed automatic transmission and a dually rear axle.

The Carfax report notes the aforementioned mileage inconsistency and is free of accidents and other reported damage.
