1935 Buick Model 41 Touring Sedan Resto-Rod – Custom Build with Modern Comforts
This fully customized 1935 Buick Model 41 Touring Sedan Resto-Rod is a head-turning blend of vintage style and modern performance. Originally from North Carolina, the car underwent a complete frame-off restoration and custom build in 2010.
Under the hood sits a rebuilt, chromed-out Chevy 350 V8 paired with a 700R4 automatic transmission and column shifter. A Fat Man front end and Chassis Engineering rear ensure a smooth, modern ride, while power disc brakes all around (with a new master cylinder) and power tilt steering enhance drivability. The car also features Vintage Air A/C and heat, power windows and locks, cruise control, and an AM/FM stereo mounted discreetly in the glove box.
The interior is trimmed in tan leather with embroidered Buick logos, a full-length rear handle and footrest, Dolphin gauges including a tachometer, and a glove box-mounted quartz clock. The custom headliner is in excellent condition.
The exterior is finished in Champagne Mist Pearl over Orchid Pink and rides on Dayton wire wheels, with two side-mounted spares above the pontoon-style front fenders. Suicide doors add classic appeal. All chrome trim, badging, bumpers, grille, and the hood ornament are in good condition. Additional exterior features include dual chrome horns, yellow fog lights, and headlights with integrated turn signals.
The undercarriage was painted during restoration and remains clean, featuring dual Flowmaster exhausts that deliver a deep, satisfying sound. A small built-in trunk houses the battery, while an additional rear-mounted trunk adds extra storage.
Some imperfections include bubbling in the Champagne paint (likely due to prep issues), and the speedometer and radio are currently non-functional. Despite these minor needs, the car drives beautifully, comfortably cruising at 70 MPH on the highway. It received a tune-up roughly 150 miles ago.
This one-of-a-kind Buick comes with extensive documentation, including restoration photos, parts list, and a clean Massachusetts title in the owner’s name. Perfect for weekend cruising, local shows, or just enjoying a standout piece of automotive history.
