Mercury was a marque of automobiles produced by the Ford Motor Company from 1939 to 2010. Originally conceived by Edsel Ford to bridge the gap between Ford and Lincoln offerings, Mercury became part of the Lincoln-Mercury division in 1945. Throughout its history, Mercury built a loyal following—one that remains strong even after the brand’s closure.

This stunning 1939 Mercury Convertible Club Coupe is a prime example of why that loyalty endures. A professionally built street rod, it blends timeless styling with modern upgrades for improved safety, performance, and comfort. Under the distinctive triangular hood sits a Ford Racing 302 V8, equipped with a Demon carburetor, Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum intake manifold, headers, and a clean serpentine belt system.

The list of enhancements continues with rack and pinion steering, four-wheel disc brakes, a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission, and a highly detailed TCI chassis featuring a Ford 9″ rear end, coilovers, and tubular A-arms. Inside, you’ll find a custom leather interior, power windows, Vintage Air A/C, and an AM/FM/CD stereo system. Exterior upgrades include flush-mounted Mercedes-Benz headlights and 1949 Mercury tail lights, all-steel bodywork, and BFG G-Force radial tires (245/45ZR17 front, 255/50ZR17 rear) mounted on Billet Specialties alloy wheels.
