1967 Chevy Chevelle Malibu — a true 136 car with just 2,000 miles since a full rotisserie restoration. This stunning build is powered by a 496 CID big block Chevy paired with a Tremec TKX 5-speed manual (less than 1,000 miles on the transmission) and a 12-bolt Posi rear with 3.73 gears.
The car retains all original sheet metal except for an aftermarket SS hood, and it’s completely rust-free. It features a Lee’s Performance power steering box, front and rear sway bars, power front disc brakes, and a Be Cool aluminum radiator with dual Spal fans — no overheating issues here.
Inside, you’ll find a spotless factory bucket seat interior with a center console, plus a high-end stereo setup with Morel speakers, Audio Control amp, and a custom dual 8″ subwoofer box. The car has only 90,000 original miles and comes with all original paperwork, including the Protect-O-Plate.
The paint is flawless, all trim, brightwork, glass, and weatherstripping are like new, and everything works as it should. This is a superb, turn-key example that needs absolutely nothing.

While someone paid a lot of attention to detail while building this car, it is in fact a SS CLONE. The 136 on the trim tag gives it away, Until 1969, the SS cars were 138. Numerous You Tube videos will verify this, plus I have a real SS Chevelle with the 138 designation.
correct, it is not referred to anywhere as a true SS
