Is the roof metal or original canvas? I see the top but checking to see if it was enclosed. Also any wood structure in the build?

    • ZoomCC says:

      Response directly from the Owner…..

It’s neither metal nor original canvas.
When Mark’s Upholstering did the interior to match the 2003 Cadillac CTS leather front and rear seats, he replaced the canvas, chicken wire & horsehair filled top with new wire & cotton/polyester fill to give it the original retro era look without the sag that comes from the old horsehair filled canvas tops. The canvas was replaced with HAP Burgundy colored canvas backed weatherproof crushed-grain vinyl fabric and edged with a color matched vinyl beading that was silicone sealed to the roof for weather proofing. I kept the remaining 60 in. wide roll of that material, originally to use to cover the unfinished trunk, or in case the roof needed replacement. According to Mark, they don’t make the same quality vinyl today and his original work still looks great. Pictures of roof and Roll of remaining vinyl to be added.
