1971 Plymouth Road Runner powered by a rebuilt 440 V8 and Torqueflite automatic transmission. Finished in deep, glossy black with the signature white “Dust Trail” stripe and 440 hood callouts, this Road Runner commands attention. The body is laser straight, the paint is show-quality, and every detail has been carefully refined.
Inside, the white vinyl bucket seats with center console and slapstick shifter provide a bold contrast to the dark exterior. The interior features new seatbelts and factory-style amenities including air conditioning, AM/FM radio, power steering, and power brakes.
The 440 cubic inch V8 was completely rebuilt and rated at 375 horsepower, paired with a rebuilt 727 Torqueflite automatic transmission and stall converter. Engine upgrades include ceramic headers, a large aluminum radiator with electric fan, Edelbrock 1407 carburetor and 2087 top end kit, Comp Cams 1.5 ratio rockers, Manley chromoly pushrods, .030 overbore, and a 20/20 crank. Only 600 miles have been driven since the rebuild.
