So is it a 1970 motor or a 1971 motor with 1970 heads?

I believe it’s a 1971 motor with the F head
Not sure about the documentation, however this is not a W30 motor. Picture 178 shows the heads with a code F. All W30 motors came with H heads.

That is correct. F head for 1970 W30. This one should have a set of H heads.
In addition, shouldn’t there be a W30 designation on the build sheet? I don’t see it. Is this a “tribute car”? If so, it should be disclosed and sold as such.

It is not a tribute. It is a true W30 and when the client did the mechanical restoration he used only W30 NOS parts. I did talk with the mechanic who did the work. Spent over $33k for mechanical
