This factory “X77” Z28 underwent a restoration several years ago under prior ownership. The original matching 302 block was removed, placed on an engine stand for display, and will be included with the car. In its place, a new Dart 302 block with 10.4:1 compression was installed, featuring New World performance heads and a forged steel crank. Painted Chevy Orange and fitted with the correct aluminum intake and valve covers, the replacement engine was dressed to replicate the original. The stock Muncie M21 4-speed manual transmission and 12-bolt rear end with 3.73 gears were retained for an authentic driving experience.
Finished in factory-correct LeMans Blue (code “71”) with a standard Ivory and Black interior (code “727”), this Z28 comes well-equipped with desirable options, including bucket seats, a center console with gauges, an in-dash tachometer, a Delco AM-FM radio, front and rear spoilers, and a cowl hood. Combining classic styling with the reliability of a fresh crate engine, this Z28 is built to be enjoyed on modern roads with confidence.

Do you have pics of the original engine and stamping on the deck to provide?

IS ORIGINAL ENGINE COMPLETE OT ALL APART ???
From the seller:
The original engine is together…the original intake and valve covers were installed on the new 302 crate engine. Another intake and set of correct/used valve covers were sourced to install on the original engine for display. The engine was painted as well and presents nicely…it will need complete rebuild though.
Well done.
