“DARTH VADER” — A RESTOMOD ICON WITH A DARK SIDE AND A MODERN SOUL

This 1966 Chevelle SS Restomod, appropriately nicknamed “Darth Vader,” is a blacked-out, no-expense-spared masterpiece that blends intimidating curb appeal with modern driving dynamics and show-quality craftsmanship. Finished in rich PPG base and clear black paint, every piece of trim and chrome has been powder coated or painted to match its sinister aesthetic. Boyd 20” rear and 18” front wheels wrapped in aggressive Nitto tires complete the commanding stance.

At the heart of this Restomod is a brand-new GM LS3 crate engine producing 525 horsepower, paired to a Tremec T56 Magnum 6-speed manual transmission with a McLeod hydraulic clutch and Ford 9” rear end with 4.10 gears. A Ricks custom full stainless fuel tank with an integrated high-flow pump ensures consistent delivery, while a 3” stainless Magnaflow exhaust belts out an aggressive note worthy of its dark persona.

Handling is world-class thanks to a RideTech full air ride suspension with StrongArm sway bars and QA1 adjustable shocks—all operated by a remote controller, allowing the driver to visually dial in stance and ride height from outside the car. Baer 13” drilled and slotted 4-piston brakes, an ABS electric system, and a Line Lock setup add true performance functionality, whether you’re carving corners or lighting up the rear tires for a little showmanship.

Step inside and you’ll find a one-of-a-kind, professionally crafted leather interior. The dash—fully leather-wrapped and powder-coated black—is custom built to house Auto Meter carbon fiber gauges and a central screen. A sculpted leather console seamlessly integrates air ride controls, Vintage Air digital climate system, push-button ignition, and power window switches. Matching custom leather door panels and four racing-style leather seats round out the high-end cabin feel. Dynamat insulation and a 2000-watt JL audio system complete the package.
